This will be the last post for this trip, as we head back north the day after tomorrow. The house is really feeling like a house now that the windows have arrived and been installed. We've been concentrating on finishing up a few last things - cleaning up the house, painting the exposed wood on the exterior, finally winning the war with the bamboo clump, and a maniacal effort to get the burglar bars done for the shop.
We're very happy with what has been accomplished. Our crew has been great, always giving the special last effort to help us realize our dream. We are exhausted - the last few days have been very intense as we tried to pack as much work in as possible. We are already looking forward to when we can come back.
