The last few days have seen the roof framing come together very quickly. It is really looking great, and we can't wait to see it finished! The king posts are turned from cedar and were designed by Devon, our lead carpenter.
The roofing crew has been zipping along - the bedroom sheathing is done and the living room half done. The weather has been hot and dry, and working up on the roof is very hot. We now have crews working on all three of the houses - the masons are rough casting Jeff & Diane Laughlin's house, the tiler is laying the floor in Charlie & Tina Spiegel's house, and the roofing crew and electrician are working on our house.
