It has been a week of slow, steady progress since we last posted. The window frame factory brought all of the window and door frames up to a furniture grade finish, and they really look beautiful. Now we'll have the man from the Home Solutions (the local Home Depot wanna be) window factory come up and measure, and they will build the actual windows.
Tom has been working hard on the landscaping, moving a lot of dirt and getting some seriously aerobic excercise removing the bamboo clump from near the side of the house. The shop is almost finished, and Tom is eager to start building the burglar bars. Barbara has been painting and cleaning up around the place.
