February has been pretty hectic, with construction going on nearly non-stop. Scaffolding went up, followed by lots of reinforcing steel and then massive amounts of forms. The arches and the band beams atop the walls were cast, and it is really starting to look like rooms.
Tom got really tired of opening and closing the barbed wire gate at the top of the property, so he fabricated a "people gate" to make it easier to get in and out.
The latest litter of pigs from the pig farm next door have found our place, so most days start out by chasing them back home. They're not as destructive as the goats used to be, but they do root around and damage a few of the plants.
