The last few days have been spent working on the band beam that will support the roof. The work has been slowed a little by the very unusual amount of rain - January is usually a very dry month. Curing of the porch roof decking has progressed enough that we were able to remove about 2/3 of the bamboo supports.
The forms have all been stripped from the porch decking, and the porch looks great. The masons have been working - and will continue to work for a while more - on rough casting and truing up the windows and doors. The cedar has been ordered for the window and door casings.
